Owasso, OK | We are pleased to offer biofuel alternatives in a number of 430 stores in our 12 states of operation.
And we are not new to this biofuel movement. Offering E-85 fuel since 1997, Kum & Go is a cutting-edge innovator in the delivery of alternative fuel choices. E-85 is a fuel mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline and is renewable fuel source that reduces harmful emissions and provides tangible economic benefits to communities across the country.
Plus, we are proud that we were one of the first convenient store chains in the nation to offer a 10% ethanol blend. In 2005, ethanol-blended gasoline accounted for nearly 40% of our total gas gallons sold.
Kum & Go’s total reduction of fossil fuel dependency was 14.5 million gallons from ethanol alone last year.Kum & Go is currently offering the most E-85 fueling sites in the state of Iowa, and that number continues to climb as more and more of our sites are offering the alternative fueling solution.

Touring on E-85: Tour highlights flex-fuel performance; DOE earmarks funds for more E-85 pumps When Greg Pawlowski pulled into a service station in Ankeny, Iowa, Sunday evening in his Ford F-150 pickup truck, he was relieved to find an E-85 pump. Pawlowski is driving the flex-fuel vehicle to 20 cities as part of a Ford Motor Company promotional tour for vehicles that can run on 85% ethanol. Although the truck runs on regular gasoline, too, he's trying to burn E-85 on most of the route. And it can be a long stretch from one E-85 pump to the next. Read more @ agriculture.com
