KUM & GO CELEBRATES E-FRIENDLINESS IN SUMMER '07

MONTHLY GIVEAWAYS OF CARS, GAS AND STOCK RAISE AWARENESS OF RENEWABLE FUEL

WEST DES MOINES, IA - JUNE 2, 2007

Kum & Go, one of the nation’s leading convenience store chains, proudly announces the kick-off of its 2007 summer promotion: The “Fuel Good” sweepstakes.

As a leading member of the biofuels industry, Kum & Go takes pride in being one of the largest distributors of ethanol-based fuel. To help increase awareness for the benefits of biofuels, and also to thank its customers for supporting the company’s initiative to reduce its dependency on foreign oil, the company is introducing a summer-long promotion aimed at educating and rewarding its customers.

“We have a tremendously enlightened customer base that understands that ethanol-based products are good for the environment, good for the economy, good for the country and good for their personal budgets,” said

Jack Wilkie, senior vice president of marketing for Kum & Go. “That is why this promotion is geared at rewarding our customers for their e-friendly choices, and for “fueling good.” Another unique aspect to this promotion is that the prize packages grow in size and worth throughout the summer.”

All customers who entered the “Fuel Good” sweepstakes in the month of June were eligible to win a 2007 FlexFuel Chevy Impala, which has been engineered as an E85 accepting vehicle, and is valued at $20,000.

The grand conclusion of the “Fuel Good” Sweepstakes arrives in August, as one lucky Kum & Go customer will win the trifecta of e-friendly prizes. In addition to the Chevy Impala and $10,000 in E-85 fuel, this individual will also receive $15,000 worth of stock in VeraSun Energy Corp.
