Crocker was the grand prize winner in the “Fuel Good” summer sweepstakes, a promotion educating the public on E85 as an alternative fuel while cumulatively building prizes each month from June to August. “We launched the summer promotion with the hope that the communities we serve would gain some knowledge and awareness of alternative fuel and its benefits,” said Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go, one of the nation’s leading convenience store chains. “This is just a starting point for Kum & Go as we look forward to growing alternative fuel availability and continuing efforts to educate consumers on this alternative option.” The total prize package received by Crocker is worth more than $45,000 and is the largest ever awarded to an individual in Kum & Go’s 48-year existence. The promotion was open to Kum & Go customers who were residents in one of the 13 states in which Kum & Go operates, including Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Colorado, Arkansas, Wyoming and Wisconsin. About Kum & Go, L.C. In 1959 in Hampton, Iowa, company founders W. A. Krause and T.S.
