Kum & Go Names DePhillips Director of Recruitment and Retention Niki DePhillips to Drive Store and Corporate Associate Talent Acquisitions (West Des Moines, Iowa — Feb. 22, 2008) Kum & Go, L.C., one of the nation’s leading convenience store chains, is proud to announce that Niki DePhillips has been promoted to director of recruitment and retention. As director of recruitment and retention, DePhillips will work within Grow People, the name of Kum & Go’s human resources department, and she will be responsible for driving the talent acquisition objectives for Kum & Go store and corporate positions. To ensure the company’s personnel needs are met, she will provide leadership to the recruitment team. Her other responsibilities will include developing standards and protocols for recruitment and retention, identifying recruitment metrics and trends to categorize high-performing individuals and establishing effective plans for sourcing, screening and evaluating job candidates. “We are delighted to announce the addition of Niki DePhillips as director of recruitment and retention to our Grow People team,” said Steve Kimmes, senior vice president of Grow People. “Niki is a results-oriented associate and a proven producer who will bring fresh and creative solutions to the challenges faced by my team.” DePhillips, a Clive native, has been a Kum & Go associate since December 2002 serving in various positions within the Real Estate department over the last five years.
