Kum & Go appoints Kate Gibson Overby as Vice President of Marketing Communications
(Des Moines, Iowa) Kum & Go today announced the appointment of Kate Gibson Overby as Vice President of Marketing Communications where she will lead brand and digital strategy for the company. Gibson Overby is an entrepreneurial marketer with over two decades of brand marketing and communications experience.

Gibson Overby joins Kum & Go from The Coca-Cola Company, where she was brand and consumer communications leader. Previously, she was Director of Brand Marketing at Major League Baseball, where she launched integrated marketing campaigns that leveraged new and traditional media, including industry-leading digital and cause marketing programs. Before MLB, she worked at Nike on global initiatives that united digital brand marketing and corporate social responsibility.

Gibson Overby earned her B.A. from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, and graduate diploma from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), in Bologna, Italy. She taught English in Pachuca, Mexico, and was a Rotary International Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar based in Quito, Ecuador.
